Interested in getting a garden plot for yourself? How about in helping grow & harvest food for the pantry? Or maybe your group or company would like a plot for the food pantry?
|

Zion began its community garden 2 years ago. However, even as a newcomer, it has grown fast. Starting with 25 garden plots in 2009, the garden grew to 48 plots in 2010. We fully expect it to grow even more in 2011! Located at the base of a hill and only a few hundred yards from Holes Creek, the garden site is blessed with good soil and plentiful moisture. During the last two gardening seasons, watering at planting time was almost all that was required! While there is currently no access to water, we hope to provide well access some time in future seasons. |
